MSU continues mutual cooperation with Ming Chi University of Technology, China

On June 9, 2023, a team of MSU’s administrators led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University visited Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), China at the invitation of Dr. Thu-Hua Liu, President of MCUT on the visit of MoA Signing Ceremony 3+2 Fast Track Program on March 21, 2023.

This main purpose of this visit was to ensure continued academic cooperation between both institutes and observe the research and innovation of the following technological research centers

1) Battery Research Center of Green Energy 2) Center for Plasma and Thin Film Technologies and 3) Research Center for Intelligent Medical Devices. Furthermore, the MSU delegates attended a meeting to discuss research cooperation development with the following 9 research centers.

  1. Biochemical Technology R&D Center
  2. Center for Plasma and Thin Film Technologies
  3. Battery Research Center of Green Energy
  4. Center on Reliability Engineering
  5. Organic Electronics Research Center
  6. Center for Artificial Intelligence & Data Science
  7. Center for Environmental Sustainability and Human Health
  8. Intelligent Vehicle Research and Development Center

Currently, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) contains 4,028 regular students studying at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels and there are 197 students studying part time programs in bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The university also has 202 lecturers. The educational activities at the university are guided by the principles of “Diligence, Perseverance, Frugality and Trustworthiness”. “Diligence and Perseverance” MCUT students are expected to study hard and have good behavior. The students will be supported to enhance their ability and confident through their learning and experiences. “Frugality and Trustworthiness” mean simple life and faithfulness. According to these principles, MCUT students should find their goals and develop their skills. The highest goal of MCUT student’s development is to utilize integrated education to incubate effective people with the 4 principles of the university.
