MSU Students Join “Smart Skills For MSU Students” Activity

On September 7, 2025, the Division of Student Affairs, Mahasarakham University, organized the activity “Smart Skills For MSU Students” under the theme “Learn & Fun Together.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nittaya Wannakit, Vice President for Student Affairs and Corporate Image, who also gave a welcomed speech to the participants.

The activity was a practical English workshop designed to promote communication skills needed in daily life and travel. Its objective was to create a positive attitude among students by showing that English is a useful tool in real-life situations. The learning approach focused on fun, interaction, and participation.

The workshop was divided into four main learning stations: Airport, Restaurant, Direction, and Hotel. Activities included Speak with Confidence practice and role-playing real-life scenarios. The workshop was led by guest speakers Ms. Erika Matsuura (3rd-year student) and Ms. Naranthaya Manowimonya (4th-year student) from the English major, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event also received support from the House of English Club and Phasa-sin (the Language and Arts Club), who helped facilitate the activities.
