MSU Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with UCSI University, Malaysia

On May 5, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University signed and discussed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Professor Datuk Ir Ts Dr Siti Hamisah Binti Tapsir, FASc, the Vice-Chancellor, UCSI University, Malaysia in order to jointly organize research and academic activities, such as research matching seminars, English summer camps, summer camps for Citizen Skills, Leadership, and Language Development for Primary, Secondary, and College Students.

On this occasion, administrators and university representatives from the MSU Business School, College of Music and the Demonstration School of Mahasarakham University (Secondary) discussed research and exchange activities for students with UCSI University executives, including:
1. Prof. Dato’Dr.Toh Kian Kok, Group Business Development Advisor,
2. Distinguished Prof.Dr. Phang Siew Moi, FASc, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Postgraduate Education
3. Prof. Datuk Dr. Rohana Binti Yusof, FASc, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Internationalisation (Kuala Lumpur campus)
4. Representatives from Institute of Music, Faculty of Business Management, Centre of Excellence of Research, Value Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Graduate Business School, Global Rankings and Internal Audit and Global Engagement Office.

UCSI University is a private undergraduate program located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, ranking 284th in most aspects. Since 2019, the QS World University Rankings has improved year by year, steadily going from 481 in 2019 to 284 in 2023.

In addition, graduate students have a 100% employment rate. The university is able to send students for internships in more than 4,600 global companies. UCSI has International students of 110 different nationalities, which make up 30% of all students, and it is the first private university in Malaysia to offer courses in Aquatic Science, Biotechnology, Food Science, Music and Nutrition.
